Join us July 16-25, 2010, in Zakosciele, Poland, as we share God’s word with more than 200 male and female athletes from 8 countries at the PROeM Ministries basketball camp. This year we will also be having an additional group that will be doing construction in a nearby city called Lodz.

Details:
What: Short term mission. We will be using basketball as a medium with the real purpose of sharing God’s word & love to the youth of Europe.  This is the first year that we also have an opportunity to help Polish families by repairing and rebuilding homes in a nearby city.

Who: Adults and teens (Teens that wish to attend should be responsible enough to attend all activities on the trip without constant supervision from their parents)

When: July 16-25, 2010.

Where: Zakosciele and Lodz, Poland. (About an hour outside of Warsaw)

How: Through work, play, praise, worship and fellowship.  This year we will also be helping Polish families directly through construction and repair on different homes.

Signup Deadline: January 3, 2010.

Cost: $2200: $250 deposit is due at the time the signup application is turned in. $1600 will be due by May 10.  The remaining amount is due July 1.  We will also be doing fundraising for additional funds.  Please don't let the cost of the trip keep you from going.  This is our 10th year for this trip and every group has always reached their goal of raising funds.  If you have questions or concerns about money directly, please talk to Fred Sagester at the number listed below.

Retreat: There is a mandatory retreat at Hilltop Christian camp.  The retreat will start on Friday, June 25 at 7:00pm and end Saturday, June 26 at 1:00pm.

PROeM is a non-profit Polish Christian mission working for the benefit of young people. The headquarters is in Warsaw with daily operations in the Christian Youth Center in Zakosciele. PROeM Ministries has existed in Poland since 1990. PROeM is based on the teaching of the Bible and Christian ethics, and works together with Polish churches as well as churches from other countries. Originally appointed by Polish Protestant churches, PROeM has organized summer and winter camps for children and youth from differing social classes and churches for over 17 years. PROeM promotes recreation and relaxation that joins sports and games, along with Biblical teaching and spiritual growth. Apart from summer and winter camps, PROeM organizes basketball tournaments, Bible correspondence courses, coffee shop, Christian conferences, and training workshops. PROeM promotes friendship, sports and worthwhile entertainment, as well as an active lifestyle without alcohol, drugs, nicotine, and violence. PROeM prepares media and musical presentations dealing with current topics of discussion for public schools, churches, and educational settings.
PROeM promotes ethical and moral values of all Christian churches in Poland, values evangelism, and supports the work of Christian mission organizations and initiatives aimed at increasing spiritual growth, and in raising the quality of life for children, youth, and adults.
