Update to Mask Requirements and Sunday Guidelines

By now you’ve probably seen that a new mask mandate is in place for the state of Indiana. You may have also seen that there are some exemptions for churches and on-stage speakers as a part of that, but we wanted to fill you in on how we’re complying with that, while also taking some additional steps to make sure our services are accommodating all.

First, the big change: our 9:30 service will now be masks required. From the minute you walk in the door, or even when you exit your car in the parking lot, to the minute you leave, masks are required to be worn during this service. We ask that you bring a mask to this service, but should you forget or lose one, we will have a limited number available at the entrance. While we’re encouraging masks be worn by kids 2-8 years old, they are not required per the mandate, as long as social distancing is followed. Our on-stage speaker and vocalists won’t be in masks, but will be at least 6 feet from others on stage, and 15 feet from the audience.

You shouldn’t notice too many changes to our 11:00 service. Per the exemption for religious services and speakers which are laid out in the mandate, masks are being strongly encouraged, especially when entering/exiting the building or anywhere besides in the seats, but they are not required, as long as social distancing is being followed.  Should guidelines change, we will adjust that accordingly.

If neither of these options are a good fit for you and your family, we encourage you to join us on Facebook, where we livestream both services every Sunday. This means you now have 3 options for how you join us: at our 9:30 masks-required service, at our 11:00 masks encouraged service, or online at 9:30 or 11.

If you’ve been around for some time, you’ve probably heard us talk about one of our values, which is “we believe nothing matters if people don’t matter”. As we’ve made decisions and abided by guidelines, that’s ultimately what it comes down to: people matter. You matter, your family matters, everyone matters. If you have questions, feel free to email us at , or message us on Facebook. Whether you plan to join us in-person or online, we look forward to seeing you Sunday!
