Ridge Reading Challenge
Join The Ridge Reading Challenge
Every January, we kick off a church-wide challenge to read major parts of the Bible throughout the year, called the Ridge Reading Challenge. We are doing this because we want to make a commitment – as a church – to read the Bible every day. We believe if we all set a goal to do this and encourage one another – we can all grow in our faith, knowledge of who Jesus is and how God wants to work in our lives.
Be sure to join our Facebook group, where you can interact with other people participating.
You can check out the reading plan below, or you can find it in our app events (just text APP to 812.408.1188 to get the app).
NEW TO 2025:

The Ridge Reading Challenge is now 7 days a week. Why, you may ask? For one, we wanted to give you the opportunity to have content to read daily if you'd like. Which leads right in to #2:

We are now utilizing the YouVersion Bible app! The Bible app has TONS of studies, and we're able to post topical studies that follow along with Sunday morning sermon series, or other topics that we think are interesting. We'll continue to post the featured studies in our Ridge app as well (in the "events" tab).

To follow along with the studies in the Bible app, you can follow these instructions (they may look like a lot, but once you've got it set up, it's super easy to access):

Download the YouVersion Bible app (get it here: https://www.bible.com/app).

In the app, click “discover.”

Search for “The Ridge,” then click “churches” on the top of the results page.

Click on The Ridge, and click “set as my church.”

Once The Ridge is set as your church, you can view the current plan at any time by clicking “more” in the bottom right corner, then clicking “my church.”

The current plan can be found as the “featured plan” on the Ridge page. Click “start plan” to update your progress, read each day’s devotional and verse(s), and catch up on any days you miss.
We are excited to see how God will move in our church when we all make time with Him a priority!

Comfort & Joy: The Ridge Day of Caring
Time: 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm
Location: Greensburg Learning Center
We feel compelled to care in Greensburg, and this Christmas, we're partnering with local organizations that already serve families in need at the Greensburg Learning Center. They have a great space we'll be using to host our first ever "Comfort & Joy" event! We'll be serving approximately 40 families with children under the age of 5 with an afternoon of Christmas fun, snacks, crafts, and care. There will be free haircuts for the kids, family pictures with Santa, and items/resources to help them have a joy-filled Christmas.
Are you a licensed hair stylist or photographer, or do you just want to help wherever needed? Use this form to let us know you'd be interested in helping out. Want to help provide some of the needed items we will be giving to the families? You can shop our lists at Kohls & Amazon, both of which will auto-ship to our main campus.
