Ridge Reading Challenge
Join The Ridge Reading Challenge
Every January, we kick off a church-wide challenge to read major parts of the Bible throughout the year, called the Ridge Reading Challenge. We are doing this because we want to make a commitment – as a church – to read the Bible every day. We believe if we all set a goal to do this and encourage one another – we can all grow in our faith, knowledge of who Jesus is and how God wants to work in our lives.
You can check out the reading plan via the reading schedule link below, or you can find it in our app (just text APP to 812.408.1188 to download the app. Once it's downloaded, click "events", and you'll find the calendar there). This schedule can help keep you on track all year. We have chapter readings each day, which should take around 5-10 minutes, with the weekends off.
Be sure to join our Facebook group, where you can interact with other people participating.
We are excited to see how God will move in our church when we all make time with Him a priority!

Dedication Sunday
Time: 12:00 am – 11:59 pm
Parenting is hard. That's a statement that surprises no one. Parents often ask our team to pray for them and their kids, and we're always happy to do so. We want to pray for and partner with you and your kids. Our hope is that we'll all do whatever it takes to reach your kids for Christ.
One way we want to partner with you is through a class on Sunday, August 4, during second service, for expecting parents all the way through parents/guardians of 6th graders. We'll talk about our programs and groups for kids and adults (Sunday morning and weekday), give you space to meet other parents and our leadership team, and give you a chance to tour our Little Ridge Kids and Ridge Kids areas.
Then on Sunday, August 11, we'll have an on-stage family dedication for those who came to the class on August 4 and want to participate in a public dedication time. We'll give you a chance to publicly commit to intentionally raising your child in a way that gives them every opportunity to know, love, and serve Jesus as they grow up, and we as a church will pray over your family and commit to guiding you along the way.
If you'd like to participate in the class, we'll see you in our conference room on Sunday, August 4, during second service (11am). There, we'll give the details on how to be a part of the dedication Sunday. Fill out this form to let us know you're coming.

Afterparty
Time: 12:15 pm – 1:00 pm
Location: The Ridge
If you’ve ever wondered why we do what we do at The Ridge, wondered how to get connected, or would like to get to know the staff and other Ridgers a little better, we want to invite you to the Afterparty. This is an informal time after the 11am service, from 12:15-1pm on Sunday, August 18, where you can relax with us and learn more about The Ridge. It's a great starting point for people who are newer to The Ridge or are wondering how to get plugged in.
Good news! We'll provide childcare for infants-4th grade so you can chat without also wrangling children!
You're welcome to just drop in, but if you know you're going to join us please let us know via this form. Hope to see you there.
